The North Penn Marketplace at S. Valley Forge Road and Sumneytown Pike in Upper Gwynedd, will have a new tenant in early March.
Oki Sushi, a new all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant, will open in early March, according to owner Kim Jollay. Jollay, owner of Trappe's Jasmine Asian House, said the new restaurant will be a new style buffet, where diners will pay one price and can order sushi, appetizers, and more.
With no buffet table, Jollay explained that everything ordered will be made fresh with the benefits of an all-you-can-eat, where diners can try new items while still paying one price.
She said they currently offer all you can eat sushi at Jasmine Asian House and it is very popular, with people traveling from as far as Harleysville and Lansdale.
Jollay added there will also be an al-a-carte menu with full size entrees and lunch specials at the new restaurant.
She said she has been in the restaurant business for many years, and has owned Jasmine Asian House for six years. She said at Jasmine Asian House, customers have become friends, and she looks forward to meeting more friends at the new location in Upper Gwynedd.
"We have so many friends here," she said.
Oki Sushi is opening at 1551 S. Valley Forge Rd., Suite I in Upper Gwynedd, in the shopping center with Weis.
