Berk Wiper Moving to Boyertown by September

Philly.com reports that the Lansdale business will buy and renovate a larger facility in Boyertown for $3.28 million.

Berk Wiper International, LLC—a Lansdale business housed at the former Gasboy location at Valley Forge Road and Eighth Street, which expanded its warehouse within the past three years—is moving to Boyertown by Sept. 1.

A major sponsor of this year’s Founders Day event, the disposable wiping cloth manufacturer is taking advantage of a $1.96 million, 15-year loan from the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority, according to Philly.com.

Berk Wiper will leave its 248,000-square-foot facility and buy a 276,000-square-foot building for $3.28 million, which includes renovations, according to the report.
