According to Dan Sokil of The Reporter, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen opens for business at the former KFC site on Broad Street in Hatfield Township.
According to the article, Shahid Imran, general manager of the new location, said a Popeyes opened on Route 309 (South West End Boulevard) in Quakertown and the response has been great.

The new fast food restaurant will employ about 20 workers, and more job openings are available, according to the article.

There is an informal cookout for family, friends, and Hatfield Township officials and emergency responders from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the 1719 N. Broad St. location, according to The Reporter.
Operating hours are set for 10:15 a.m. to 10 p.m. for the lobby and until 11 p.m. for the drive-through, according to the article.
