Taco Bell President Brian Niccol said the new menu aims to “break the boring breakfast routine by making mornings fun again.”

Based on its marketing campaign, which pokes fun at McDonald’s, the fast food chain is attempting to attract some customers that would otherwise head to the golden arches.

The media has billed Taco Bell’s new menu and accompanying marketing campaign targeting McDonald’s as a “Breakfast War” of sorts. 

The outcome of Taco Bell’s breakfast success remains to be seen. It all depends on if customers are open to swapping out the old classics for something new.
