Ambler Savings Bank Sponsors Beginning of Ambler Symphony 2013-14 Season
AMBLER — Ambler Savings Bank Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Roger Zacharia, helped the Ambler Symphony kick off their 2013-14 season on Friday, Nov. 15, by presenting a check for $1,500.
The Friday evening concert, performed at Wissahickon High School, was the first of the area orchestra’s season and featured two internationally acclaimed soloists, who performed Johannes Brahms’ double concerto, as well as the orchestra performing The Planets by Gustav Holst.
“As a community bank in Ambler for 140 years, we want to support the arts and culture that makes Ambler a vibrant town where people want to live and play,” said Zacharia.
