WORLD WIDE STEREO RENOVATES MEDIA ROOM FOR ST. CHRISTOPHER'S CHILDREN HOSPITAL IN PHILADELPHIA

Collaborative efforts with several manufacturers, including Kaleidescape, bring much needed joy to pediatric oncology unit this holiday.

HATFIELD, PA –Bob & Ron’s World Wide Stereo (www.wwstereo.com) continued to celebrate the season with the donation of a fully upgraded theater room to benefit the families and caregivers at St. Christopher’s hospital in Philadelphia.

The installation specialists at World Wide Stereo completely renovated and upgraded St Christopher’s non-functioning media room, replacing and updating hardware, automating multiple remotes and installing gaming systems for children and families to enjoy.  A generous donation by Kaleidescape also made it possible for World Wide Stereo to provide a simplified and fully automated DVD server giving all instant access to a host of movies and TV programs.  Universal Remote Control donated the wall mounted keypad making it all a cinch for anyone to use at the push of a button.

The new media room was commemorated last week during a holiday celebration of St Christopher’s doctors, nurses and staff and families.

The gift, located on the pediatric oncology floor of St. Christopher’s, enables the patients currently receiving treatment and their families a much-needed respite.  Bob Cole, president of World Wide Stereo, was on hand to help celebrate.  St. Christopher’s also presented Cole with a plaque commemorating the hospital’s gratitude of World Wide Stereo and Kaleidescape’s  generosity.

“This was truly a labor of love and appreciation for all that St. Christopher provides to our community,” said Bob Cole, president of World Wide Stereo, “World Wide Stereo is truly honored and humbled to be a part of a project that touches the lives of these children and their families.”
