Lansdale is not the only borough celebrating an Oktoberfest Oct. 5.
North Wales is holding its Oktoberfest and Community Day event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the downtown borough.
Beer for the North Wales event comes in the way of Tex Mex Connection, which holds an Oktoberfest party that day.
St. Peter's Church will also be taking part in the festivities.
Attendees can expect to check out more than 70 vendors along Second Street.
Children can party it up at a Kids Zone, complete with inflatables. Weingartner Park serves as the site for table games. Live entertainment is scheduled too. All events are one block off Main Street, according to borough Manager Nate Dysard.
"There is something for everyone," he said.
