Sellersville resident and local artist and arts event organizer Amy Rims is putting on a free night of spoken word and comedy.
A Spoken Word Night is set for Nov. 22 at The Water Gallery, an art gallery in Dresher Arcade off Madison Parking Lot in Lansdale.
From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., local authors, comedians, actors, poets and spoken word performers of all kinds are invited to show up and read their words.
"You can come to listen or to speak," said Rims. "This event is uncensored in a respectful atmosphere."
There will be refreshments provided.
