Hanratty Out, Calhoun In as Lansdale Tax Collector

Republican Christine Calhoun has racked up 20 years of experience as tax collector, both in Hatfield Borough and Lansdale Borough.

Incumbent Lansdale tax collector Jim Hanratty's number is up.
The Democrat was unofficially defeated for the job by Republican Christine Thee Calhoun Tuesday, according to Montgomery County election results.
Calhoun unofficially received 1,347 votes to Hanratty's 1,222 votes, per Montgomery County.
Calhoun has 20-plus years experience as tax collector, having previously held the position for years in Hatfield Borough and working under her father, Nick Thee, Lansdale's former tax collector.
Calhoun was deputized as tax collector in 2011 after the sudden resignation of  tax collector Robert Di Domizio. Hanratty was voted in last year to fulfill the remaining term of Di Domizio.
