Raise the Bar Blow-Out Event Benefits Seriously Ill Children

Barberella Salon, known for delivering high-end style in a laid back, chic boutique atmosphere, is hosting an event to raise funds for families caring for seriously ill children. The "Raise the Bar...Hair to make a difference" event, on Sunday, Sept. 8, is a day for trying new blow-out hairstyles, braids, make-up or just enjoying a relaxing massage. PureSpa and Tony&Guy Hair Academy are contributing services as well as space for the event. Irwin H. English, a general contractor specializing in home construction and remodeling, has signed on as a Golden Locks sponsor.

"When people come to this event, they will be pampered with everything from Mimosas to light fare while they relax and receive a great new look for the week," Barberella owners Trish and Charlie Stewart explained. "Admission is only $50 and can be used toward the menu offerings which include many braid options, blow-outs, makeup application, false eyelashes, massage treatments or raffles."

The salon is donating 100% of the proceeds to support the mission of the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund and families caring for children with serious illnesses, injuries or disabilities. To register for the "Raise the Bar" event, visit dolanfund.org/raise the bar.cfm or call 215-643-0763.
