Boy Scout Recruiting Night

On Thursday, May 15, local Cub Scout packs will be
offering elementary-age boys and their families the opportunity to join the
adventure of Scouting at locations throughout Philadelphia, Montgomery and
Delaware Counties.

Cub Scouting is for boys who are currently in kindergarten
through fourth grade. The program combines outdoor activities, sports,
academics, and more in a fun and exciting environment that helps families teach
values including honesty, good citizenship, and respect. Last year, more than
16,500 young people participated in Scouting throughout the Delaware Valley. 

From 6 to 8 PM on May 15, the following locations will
host “Join Cub Scouts” events in the local area:

Yo Fresh, 190 Forty
Foot Rd, Hatfield. Boys who sign up for Scouting that evening will receive 3oz.
of Yogurt.

Freddy Hill Farms,
1140 Sumneytown Pike, Kulpsville. Boys who sign up for Scouting that evening
will receive a Kids cone.

Rita’s Water Ice, 762
Horsham Rd, Montgomeryville. Boys who sign up for Scouting that evening will
receive a Kids Ice.

Dairy Queen, 1551 S.
Valley Forge Rd, Lansdale. Boys who sign up for Scouting that evening will
receive a Kids Cone.

E. Broad St, Souderton. Boys who sign up for Scouting that evening will receive
a Kids Cone.
