Grammy Award Winner, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band Founder John McEuen in One Man Show at McCoole's Arts & Events Place

Concerts, LLC is bringing the legendary John McEuen to McCoole’s Arts &
Events Place on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. St. Luke’s University
Health Network will sponsor this multiple-instrumentalist, with a history that
weaves through Country, Rock, Jazz and Folk. McEuen will offer music and
stories from a career that has made him an indelible figure in American music
in an intimate 187seat venue most recently featured on WHYY’s On Canvas
production of Loudon Wainwright.



John
McEuen’s career includes 40 albums and 25 guest appearances on others’ records,
more than 8,500 live performances, and over three hundred television
appearances. He has earned four Grammys, four Platinum Albums and four Gold
Albums to highlight a career of achievements that, when completely listed,
could take hours to recite. A founding member of the The Nitty Gritty Dirt
Band, McEuen has had vast infunece on many artists and his projects include
those with The Doors, Phish, Dolly Parton, Dizzy Gillespie, Foreigner, Bill
Monroe, Jerry Garcia, Johnny Cash and about fifty other iconic artists. His
high school friendship with Steve Martin culminated in his fourth Grammy award
for producing Martin’s "Best Bluegrass" category winner in 2010.



The
intimacy of the theater in McCoole’s Arts & Events Place includes
near-stage seating and clear sightlines combined with special attention to
create the perfect listening room environment to every seat in the diminutive
182 seat theater. "This is what I go for," McEuen said.

Tickets
for the evening show in the quaint 182 seat venue are $32 and $37, with no
additional processing fees. McCoole’s Arts & Events Place is at 10 S. Main
