Lansdale Democrats Meeting

LANSDALE DEMOCRATS, WERE YOU OFFERED A SAMPLE YELLOW BALLOT ON ELECTION DAY?

Were you offered a sample Democratic ballot (the long yellow sheet listing all of the endorsed Democratic candidates) when you walked into

your polling place to vote on Election Day?

Making sure that every voter is offered a yellow ballot when they come

to vote is one of the responsibilities of a Democratic committee person.

If you were not offered this sample Democratic ballot when you voted,

we need you!

The Primary Election on May 20, 2014, is when

committee people will be elected (both incumbents seeking reelection and

new candidates seeking election). If you--or another registered

Democrat you know--would like to learn more about running for and

serving as a Democratic committee person, we urge you to attend our next meeting (scheduled for Wednesday, January 8, at 7:00 pm--venue to be

determined) and/or reach out to either Corresponding Secretary Liz Troy (e-mail: lizeditor2004@yahoo.com) or our Chairman, Jack Hansen

(e-mail: jackhansen1@verizon.net; or leave a message at 215-855-2473). Also, contact us to get on the e-mail list for the Lansdale Democrats!

Although the next election on May 20 seems far away, it really is not,

because candidates seeking election will need to collect signatures on

their nominating petitions during the period February 18 to March 11. We can help you through this process.

If you are not sure if you

want to run, and you just want to learn more about it, don't hesitate

to come to our next meeting or reach out to us--no pressure!

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
