Laurel House Donation Drive

Lower Salford Township/Lower Salford Township Police Department have announced they will be collecting donations of urgently needed items to support Laurel House.


 


Laurel House is a domestic violence agency serving individuals, families and communities throughout Montgomery County, to provide safe haven for abused women and children, to raise public awareness about domestic violence and to advocate for social change against domestic violence.

Items desperately needed are:

            Baby/Children Items:  Girls sneakers, children’s summer pajamas, baby wipes,


                        NEW umbrella strollers


 


            Women’s Clothing:  NEW Underwear (size 5 & up), slippers, swimsuits


 


            Food/Pantry ItemsNon-Perishable food items, cleaning supplies, paper


products, contractor size trash bags


 


Hygiene Items:  Toothbrushes/toothpaste, baby powder, African American hair             care products, etc.


 


On-going NeedsGift cards for Target, Wal-Mart, Wawa, CVS, Shop Rite,  Giant and Rite Aid


 


Donations will be accepted from now through September 30, 2013 at the Lower Salford Township Administration Building, 379 Main Street, Harleysville, PA.  Questions should be directed to Barbara Jansons, 215-256-9500.
