Puttle for Keystone Opportunity Center Oct. 24

Miniature golf plus bowling equals puttle and fundraising for the Souderton nonprofit food bank and homeless shelter.

When miniature golf meets bowling, you get puttle.

You also get an opportunity to help Keystone Opportunity Center in Souderton, courtesy of the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce.

On Oct. 24, a puttle tournament will take place at Indian Valley Country Club, with proceeds going to the nonprofit social service organization serving Bucks and Montgomery counties.

The event runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and costs $200 to register a team of four.

The idea: Putt a golf ball around a course and knock down miniature bowling pins on the green.

Givers pay to play to support the center's homeless shelter program and food pantry.

One four-member team plays nine rounds. The lowest score will be crowned the champion of puttle.

Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce will award first, second and third place teams.

There are two ways to register online: www.keystoneopportunity.org and www.indianvalleychamber.com.
