SKF Donates $1,553 to Manna on Main Street
The facility asked employees to donate a minimum of $5 toward the Lansdale soup kitchen and food pantry at a recent Thanksgiving feast.
SKF in Towamencin Township gave back to the community last month by asking its employees for a minimum donation of $5 during the company's annual fully-catered Thanksgiving lunch on Nov. 21.
In the end, $1,553 was raised and donated to Manna on Main Street in Lansdale.
"SKF recently became a Corporate Champion sponsor of Manna on Main by making a $2,500 donation to the organization," said Joe DiCostanza, corporate communication manager for SKF. "SKF has also helped out Manna on Main recently, and will continue to help in future quarterly events, with volunteers helping in Manna’s Lansdale facility preparing and serving meals."
