VMSC in Lansdale Donates 800 Pounds of Food to Philabundance

Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale beat last year's donation total.

Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale has come through in its efforts to help rid hunger in the Delaware Valley region.
The ambulance corps this week donated 887 pounds of donated food to Philabundance at the Xfinity Live! center in Philadelphia.
"We decided to go with them because Philabundance gives to all food pantries in the Delaware valley, so it's a fair donation in our minds," said Rich Roberts, VMSC captain, rescue leader and CESAR leader. "We did a great job beating last year's total."
