2. Towamencin Business Alliance and the Towamencin Township Police Department host “Coffee With a Cop” at 9 a.m. at Towamencin Township Hall. This is a community service program hosted by Towamencin Chief Tim Dickinson, with Tuesday’s topic for discussion “When Should I Call a Cop?”

3. DeSales University, 815 Sumneytown Pike, Upper Gwynedd, hosts a community outreach program organized by PennSuburban Chamber’s small business committee today from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. called “Prepare to Launch: A Primer for Starting Your Own Business.” Cost is $10.

4. Lansdale Library sponsors “Working in the United States” tonight at 6, a class for immigrants to the U.S. who are interested in learning about the cultural aspects of working in the U.S. The meeting focuses on job-search strategies and cultural workplace expectations.

5. Lansdale’s town hall meeting will NOT convene tonight at 7. The next meeting is set for October 23 at 7 p.m. at the Lansdale Parks and Recreation Building.
