Five Things to Know Today: September 28

1. To celebrate the arrival of autumn, participating 7-Eleven stores will give each customer a free 20-ounce cup of coffee from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

2. Montgomery County 4-H holds its 100-year Celebration at 7 p.m. at Dock Woods in Towamencin. The event will showcase the 4-H youth programs over the last 100 years. Dock Woods was chosen as the site because many residents and staff have been a part of 4-H as a member, leader or supporter of the youth program.

3. North Wales Area Library holds its fourth-annual Golf Classic fundraiser at Limekiln Golf Club, 1176 Limekiln Pike, Lower Gwynedd, today. Cost is $125 per golfer, which includes fees, cart, meals, prizes and more.

4. Montella’s Sports Bar, which also celebrates two years in business, holds an ‘80s Party at 8 p.m., complete with a costume contest with a top prize of $100. There will be ‘80s music all night, as well as $3 Heineken and Heineken Light.

5. PennSuburban Chamber’s health committee, in conjunction with USI Affinity, presents “Are You Confused About Healthcare Reform?: You Are Not Alone,” a luncheon and panel discussion from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Meadowood of Worcester, 3205 Skippack Pike. Cost is $15.
