Quizzes

Today I am grateful for the quizzes, “Which character are you? What animal are you?  Which career should you have?”  They have been consuming Facebook lately.  Grateful. . .and done!  After taking enough of them I’ve found out I’m every quirky character with bad hair in any sit-com or drama that’s graced cable for the last twenty years.

I got my comeuppance the other day.  I answered all of the inane questions that didn’t seem to make one bit of sense, hit the complete button and out pops:

You are MARY MOONEY!  You are a cross between a beagle and a Siamese cat.  You have the wanderlust of the beagle and the cunning of the Siamese.  All of your joints, except your knees are as old as you are, so they cause you as much annoyance as tailgaters.  You are opinionated, full of sass and think you’re really funny, because you make yourself laugh.  Ha Ha.  You are prone to bouts of sarcasm and overeating, but not necessarily in that order.  You are a dedicated friend and an encourager of dreams, no matter how outrageous they seem.  You are a writer with a lot to say.  You like to paint and draw and cook, too, none of which provide any more income than writing.  Although you are beyond overweight, you do not let it drag you down and are up for trying new things even if you look stupid doing them.  You love Chinese food and would take hostages for a whack of wedding cake.

Too scary.  I’m done.  No more quizzes for me.
