A Montgomery Township man was arrested and charged with robbery by Newark, Delaware Police after they tracked the victim's cell phone following an altercation.

According to Delaware Online, Kevin Jeeho Rice, 21, was charged Sunday with second-degree robbery and released on $5,000 unsecured bond.

According to the article, Rice allegedly got into a fight with another University of Delaware student over an ice hockey sweatshirt and he allegedly took the man's cell phone in retaliation.

Rice plays ice hockey for University of Delaware and wears the number 10 jersey for the team, according to the article. His sweatshirt bearing the same number was stolen about a year ago, according to the article.

Rice was driving on East Main Street at around 2:15 a.m. and spotted a man wearing a University of Delaware ice hockey sweatshirt with the number 10, according to the article.

Rice allegedly got into an altercation with the student, and two of Rice's friends broke up the fight, according to the article.

After Rice and his friends left, the victim noticed his cell phone was gone.

Police used tracking software and located Rice's vehicle at an intersection, according to the article.

Rice was driving the vehicle and the phone was in his possession, according to The San Francisco Chronicle.
