The Young Authors' Conference of North Penn comes to Walton Farm

1. The 25th annual Young Authors’ Conference takes place at today.

2. , 1564 Allentown Road, Towamencin, holds a Mother’s Day Bingo to support Community Housing Services today.

3. North Penn Visiting Nurse Association and Lansdale Hospital hold a free skin cancer screening from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the hospital’s orthopedic and spine institute.

4. Lee Shelly Photography invites the public to its open house today from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at 403 E. Walnut St., North Wales. There will be hors d’oeuvres and wine. Leave with a complimentary portrait.

5. The 2012 Betzwood Silent Film Festival is tonight at 8 at Montgomery County Community College’s Science Center Theater in Blue Bell, Whitpain Township. Cost is $10 for general admission and $5 for children. The event pays homage to films produced by the Betzwood Motion Picture Studio.
