Philadelphia MOVE Bombing Survivor, North Penn Alum "Birdie Africa" Michael Ward Dies on Cruise Ship: He was one of two survivors in the May 1985 bombing of the black liberation group at age 13, and died at 41 in a hot tub during a family reunion.
New York Fugitive Charged With Attempted Murder of Police Nabbed in Lower Gwynedd:
 Juan Manuel Mendez-Lazaro, 33, is charged with three counts of attempted murder of a police officer, after fleeing New York and hiding out in Madison at Hunt Club in Lower Gwynedd, police said.
