Gerald Minnucci, 78, Lansdale native, TV Executive

Gerald Lee Minnucci, 78, formerly of Lansdale and a 1952 Lansdale High School graduate, died June 23 at his home in Sherman Oaks, CA, according to his tribute on PhillyBurbs.

Minnucci served in the Army as a Russian language translator in Germany, according to his tribute. He spent more than 50 years in the TV industry, beginning at WPHL in Philadelphia.

Minnucci was the son of Leo Minnucci and Regina (Clunk) Minnucci. Among those he is survived by are brother Jay Minnucci of East Greenville; and cousins Ronald Clunk of Lansdale, Neil Minnucci of Lansdale; James Clunk of Lansdale; George Minnucci of Lansdale; Leo Saverio of Lansdale; Jacqueline Berta of Lansdale; and William Uhrich of Lansdale.
