College Football In-Game Recaps - 2:15 pm

Rice at #7 Texas A&M

At the Moment: Rice leading 14 – 7 with 13:57 left in 2nd Quarter

The Aggies look greatly hampered on the field today during the First Half which is being played without Heisman Winner Johnny Manziel who is fulfilling a suspension given to him by the NCAA. Rice is taking advantage of the Aggies' weaknesses with excellent defense and rocket offense. The Owls look very strong on the field especially on defense with team that returns 19 starters this season and looks to be a threat in the Conference USA. Texas A&M looks to be dragging and like they have a flat tire without the production from Manziel along with the heat of Texas being driven down on them this afternoon. They look like they have some problems on defense as the defensive line is pounded through by the run-game of the Owls in the 1st quarter. This first half gives the nation a glimpse into a world for the Aggies without their star QB, Manziel, which does not look good so far in this game. The matchup is being shown on ESPN at the moment, and make sure to watch the defensive backfield of Rice as they have been able to defect many passes and dominate these Texas A&M receivers.

William & Mary at West Virginia

At the moment: William & Mary leads West Virginia 17 – 10 with 8:44 in 3rd Quarter

The Tribe have been dominating this game since it started by capitalizing on momentum and hampering the Mountaineers on both offense and defense. W&M has compiled less yards than West Virginia overall but have gained power from a recovered fumble from West Virginia and receiving excellent blocking from their Offensive Line. The Mountaineers are looking better after coming out of the tunnel for the 2nd Half, but William & Mary still has the momentum and is looking for a win against an FBS opponent after losing to Maryland in 2012 by merely one point after the Terrapins scored a touchdown in the final minutes to win 7 – 6. The game can be seen on Fox Sports 1, and a key to watch is the Offensive Line for the Tribe that is aiding their QB with great time to throw in the pocket, if that protection begins to breakdown, WVU could comeback for the win.
