Jairo David Castillo, 42, formerly of Souderton Garden Apartments on East Chestnut Street in Souderton, sexually assaulted two babysitters of his daughter in October 2011.

A former Souderton Garden Apartments resident will serve five to 10 years in a state prison for the sexual assault of his daughter’s two babysitters, aged 14 and 17.

The 14-year-old girl was paid for babysitting services with alcohol. Eventually, Castillo asked for sex, and paid her for it, police said. The girl began to refuse further advances, and Castillo threatened her and forced her to have sex, police said.

The 17-year-old girl was a friend of the first victim. She and the 14-year-old stayed over Castillo’s house on Halloween, where he plied them with vodka and sexually assaulted them, police said.
