Alleged 'High-Traffic Drug Operation' in Lansdale Busted

Jason Perez, 29, of Shaw Avenue and Joshua Baez, 23, of Brooklyn, N.Y., were arrested Wednesday.

Lansdale police, with assistance from North Penn Tactical Response Team, arrested two men for allegedly dealing heroin in what has been reported as a "high-traffic drug operation."

Police discovered 429 bags of heroin and more than $3,000 cash in a Shaw Avenue home Wednesday, officials announced on Facebook.

Jason Perez, 29, of Shaw Avenue and Joshua Baez, 23, of Brooklyn, N.Y., were arrested for felony possession with intent to distribute, among other charges, according to The Reporter.

The arrests “will, for the time being, make a dent in the heroin trade in our community,” Detective Sgt. Mike Trail told The Reporter.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 3, court documents show.
