Alleged Hooker With a History Busted in West Hancock Street Undercover Sting

Tonja Wimer, 26, allegedly offered $100 for sex to an undercover Lansdale Borough detective Tuesday night.

A Lansdale woman arrested twice in the past, but never charged, on prostitution allegations, was arrested a third time for alleged prostitution in an undercover operation by Lansdale Police at her West Hancock Street residence on Tuesday.
Tonja Wimer, 26, was arraigned and jailed on misdemeanor prostitution and felony criminal use of a cell phone, according to court records. Wimer was sent to Montgomery County prison in lieu of $5,000 bail, per court records.
According to The Reporter Online, Lansdale Police began its undercover operation after receiving a crime tip that Wimer was allegedly hooking at her home on the unit block of West Hancock Street.
An undercover detective on Tuesday sent Wimer a text message after finding her contact information on an online posting, per the article. Wimer allegedly responded with a meeting time and address and a nude photo, police said. She also allegedly offered $100 for sex, per the report.
Upon arrival at Wimer's home Tuesday night, the detective was met at the door by Wimer, who was dressed in lingerie, police said. Wimer then offered "basically ... sex" for $100, per reports.
The detective asked for oral sex, and before Wimer could allegedly get her hands down the detective's pants, the detective told her to stop and he left, per reports. Then, Lansdale Police officers showed up and arrested Wimer.
