Alleged Lansdale Easter Sunday Shooter in Custody

Lansdale Police have arrested a North Philadelphia man in connection with the shooting incident that occurred on Ridge Street. They have not released his name as of Monday morning.

Lansdale Police have a 20-year-old North Philadelphia man in custody for his alleged role in a shooting that occurred Easter Sunday on Ridge Street.

Lansdale Police, Towamencin Township Police and Upper Gwynedd Township Police responded to a report of a shootig on the unit block of Ridge Street, near East Main Street, on Sunday at 4 p.m., police said.

The man was taken into custody a short time later. Police did not release the man's name or if any criminal charges were filed against him.

No one was injured in the incident, police said.

Police said the investigation continues and more information will become available as it unfolds.

Lansdale Police are confident that this was an isolated, domestic incident and that the alleged shooter was the sole actor.
