Attempted Knifepoint Robbery at The Attic in Lansdale

A thin white man in his early teens or 20s attempted to rob an employee at knifepoint, before making off without any money out the rear entrance toward Lansdale train station.

A man accosted an employee of The Attic secondhand store in Lansdale at knifepoint Thursday morning, demanded money and then fled the area without obtaining any cash.
Lansdale Police said the robber was a white male in his teens or early 20s, who fled out the rear entrance into Madison Parking Lot toward the Lansdale train station. The white male has a thin build, is 6 feet tall and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a bandana over his face, police said.
The Reporter reports Lansdale Police were assisted at the scene by Plymouth Township K9 and Towamencin Township detectives.
