Bail Set for $1 Mill for 5 of the Men Accused of Running Drug Ring
After six Mexican national were arrested for their alleged participation in a two-county drug ring, five of the men were arraigned, with their bail set at $1 million dollars, says DA's office.

Following the announcement of the arrest of six Mexican nationals for their alleged roles in high-level trafficking of crystal methamphetamine and cocaine in Berks and Montgomery counties that came on Tuesday, five of the men attended their arraignments in district court, where bail was set at $1 million for each of them, according to Montgomery County Assistant District Attorney Kelly Lloyd.
After a joint effort of law enforcement in Montgomery county, Berks county, state police, and federal agencies, Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman announced at a press conference Tuesday that “Operation Breaking Bad” led to the arrest of Hector Hugo Cucuas, Jose Dejesus-Montilla, Alder Hernandez-Solorio, Juan Carlos Morales-Soria, Eloy Soloria-Flores and Alejandro Ruiz Cabrera.

According to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s office, five of them men were arraigned in front of district judge Maurice Saylor on Oct. 8 in Gilbertsville. Their bail was set at $1 million each and they are currently incarcerated, said Lloyd.
The sixth man is currently being held in a different institution, said Lloyd.

According to court documents, the preliminary hearings will be scheduled in front of Judge Saylor on Oct. 25.
