Registered Sex Offender Busted for Allegedly Selling Weed, Police Say

Tyreece Lewis, 20, was convicted in 2011 of a sexual assault on a then 15-year-old Hatfield girl.

A Lansdale man who pleaded guilty in 2011 to sexually assaulting a 15-year-old Hatfield girl was arrested and charged with Lansdale Police for allegedly selling marijuana, per The Reporter.
Tyreece Lewis, of West Hancock Street, was allegedly busted selling marijuana from his apartment, and police had served a search warrant on his home after receiving tips of alleged drug sales over the past two months, per the article.
Seizure on Oct. 25 resulted in one ounce of suspected marijuana and more than $1,600 in cash, per reports.
Lewis is being held at Montgomery County prison on 10 percent of $10,000 bail and a probation violation detainer.
Lewis was sentenced to up to two years in prison for the 2011 sexual assault, when he was 17. Lewis was charged as an adult, along with his accomplice in the assault, Robert Lee, now 21, formerly of Towamencin.
