Costco Donates a Ton of Turkeys to Montco Police Food Drive

Employees of Costco donated 84 turkeys to Montgomery Township Police for the Montgomery County Law Enforcement Food Drive. The turkeys were then dropped off at the Salvation Army in Norristown for distribution

Employees of Costco Wholesale in Montgomery Township on Dec. 4 donated 84 turkeys, totaling 2,000 pounds or one ton, toward the Montgomery County Law Enforcement Food Drive.

The turkeys were given to Officer Jim Matlack of Montgomery Township Police for donation to the food drive.

Matlack, in turn, delivered the turkeys to Salvation Army in Norristown to be distributed to food banks in the county.

The county Law Enforcement Food Drive runs to Dec. 20.
