Co-Worker Allegedly Steals $1,800 in Tools While Stopped at McDonald's

Angel Luis Ruiz, 43, of Coulter Street, Philadelphia, was charged by Hilltown Township Police with felony theft and receiving stolen property.

Hilltown Township Police said a Philadelphia man is facing felony theft charges after he allegedly left behind his co-worker at McDonald's and left in a truck carrying $1,800 in tools and $500 cash.
Angel Luis Ruiz, 43, of the 400 block of Coulter Street, is charged with felony theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, police said. 
Police said Ruiz and a co-worker had stopped at McDonald's on Route 113 for lunch shortly before noon Oct. 24.
When the co-worker and alleged victim went to use the bathroom, Ruiz allegedly fled in the truck with the tools and cash, police said.
