Towamencin Township Police said a distraction burglary occurred on Green Lane Road. On Sept. 6 at 1:16 p.m., a resident on the 1500 block of Green Lane Road answered the door to find a man who spoke to him about painting and repairing a fence at the rear of his property, police said. The resident and the man walked back to the fence to discuss the situation, police said. As they walked back toward the house, the resident saw another man standing in the driveway of the home, police said.
