DUI Checkpoint in Towamencin This Weekend
Checkpoint will be on Sumneytown Pike in an area "identified as a location where alcohol has been a significant factor"
The North Penn DUI Enforcement Team will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint on Sumneytown Pike in Towamencin Township this weekend.
According to a Hatfield Township Police press release, the checkpoint will be conducted in an area identified as a location where alcohol has been a significant factor.
In addition to the checkpoint identifying and removing impaired drivers from the roadway, the enforcement this weekend will also check for child restraint systems, unlicensed or suspended drivers, proof of insurance, proper vehicle registration, proper vehicle equipment and other traffic violations.
