Faulty Exhaust Fan Cause of Pella Windows Fire

A mechanical failure in a bathroom exhaust fan was the reason for a fire at at Route 202 and Horsham Road Saturday afternoon.

According to director of fire services Rick Lesniak, occupants in the business reported the smoke coming from the bathroom. After further investigation, firefighters found and extinguished a small fire in the bathroom.
The fire was caused by a failure in an exhaust fan. No one was injured in the fire.

FDMT was assisted at the scene by North Penn Vol. Fire Co., Fairmount Fire Co., Hilltown Fire Co. and Horsham Fire Co. VMSC of Lansdale and Montgomery Township Police also responded to the scene.
