Fire Destroys Hatfield Home, Firefighter Injured

The garage fire at 2637 Valley Woods Road broke out shortly before 1:45 a.m. Saturday. A firefighter was injured, treated at Lansdale Hospital and later released, according to reports

A garage fire at 2637 Valley Woods Road in Hatfield Township has displaced a family, according to 6abc.com.

The fire broke out shortly before 1:44 a.m. Saturday, according to Breaking News Network. When Hatfield Police arrived on scene, fire was showing from the attached garage of the two-and-a-half-story home, according to reports. The fire eventually spread to the entire house.

One firefighter was injured when the garage collapsed, according to 6abc.com. The firefighter was treated at Lansdale Hospital and released.

No family members were injured, according to reports. Montgomery County property records identify the owner as Sherri K. Gill.

Hatfield Vol. Fire Co. was assisted at the scene by Hilltown Township Fire Co. and Hilltown Township Fire Quick Response Service.
