Gun Stolen from Car Parked at Towamencin Wawa

Police said the .38-caliber handgun was stolen between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. August 17, but was reported to police on August 25

A black Taurus .38-caliber revolver was stolen from a black Chrysler 300 sedan that was parked at Wawa, 200 Forty Foot Road, Towamencin, on August 17, said. 

The theft was not reported to police until 2 p.m. August 25, however. 

The owner of the gun reported he was initially unsure of the location of the firearm and checked other spots to confirm it was actually stolen from his vehicle, police said.

The owner did not know if the car was unlocked during the time of the theft, police said. No forced entry was reported. The gun was taken on August 17 at some point between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m., police said.
