Jeffrey A. Moyer, 34, of West Broad Street, pleaded guilty to stealing the copper from ModSpace trailers in Hatfield Township between February and March 2013. An alleged accomplice, Ryan Benner, 34, will soon be tried on similar charges.

A Hatfield man has pleaded guilty to stealing 15 copper coils from air conditioners from construction trailers at ModSpace in Hatfield Township last year, according to The Intelligencer.
Jeffrey A. Moyer, 34, of West Broad Street, pleaded guilty Tuesday to felony theft and was given a prison sentence of time served to 23 months, plus two years' probation, per the report.
Moyer must also pay $11,250 to replace the cost of the loss of the air conditioners.
Between February and March 2013, Moyer robbed copper coils from air conditioners in the trailers at the Unionville Pike business, per reports.
Moyer committed the thefts with an alleged accomplice who has yet to be tried for the crime: Ryan Benner, 34, of Bergey Road in Hatfield Township. Benner allegedly confessed to police in a written statement to the crimes, police said.
Proof of Moyer's scheme was discovered in receipts at Emert's Scrap Metal that showed nine transactions of copper coil sales, police said.
