A Hatfield Borough man who spent six years in prison on indecent exposure charges has been arraigned and jailed on indecent exposure, disorderly conduct and lewdness charges for allegedly masturbating in the parking lot of Giant Food Store and inside a laundromat in plain view of a woman and her daughter, police said. Douglas Miller, 49, of the 400 block of S. Main St., was arrested Sept. 27, according to The Reporter. Bail was set at $5,000 cash for the separate offenses from Sept. 20 and Sept. 26. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 29. On Sept. 20, after 11 p.m., Hatfield police responded to Giant Food Store on Cowpath Road, where an employee reported a man, alleged to be Miller, motioned for her to come to a cart return, where he was masturbating, per reports. Police would return two days later for a suspicious person report, allegedly encountering Miller, who had his zipper down, police said. A warrant for his arrest was issued Sept. 26, which was the same day that Miller allegedly exposed himself and masturbated inside a West Broad Street laundromat in view of a mother and her 17-year-old daughter, per reports.
