Hatfield Teen Cited for Knocking Out Power to Souderton High School

Edgar Delcidne, 18, of Maple Avenue, allegedly crashed into a utility pole shortly before 5 a.m. Nov. 14 on Lower Road and then fled the area on foot, police said.

A Hatfield teen was cited by Franconia Township Police for causing an accident last week that knocked out power to Souderton Area High School and the surrounding area, according to Souderton Independent.
Edgar Delcidne, 18, of Maple Avenue, will be charged with driving without a license and leaving the scene of an accident, police said.
Delcidne was driving a Kia Reo on Lower Road, when he allegedly crashed into and split a utility pole near the school shortly before 5 a.m. Nov. 14, per the report. The accident disconnected high tension wires and caused a fire. Delcidne allegedly fled the scene on foot.
