Intoxicated Teen Thought She Was Dying in Disturbing Video That Led to Man's Arrest

After the one minor said she felt like she was dying, Askew picked up a knife and allegedly said it would all be over soon, a statement he later told police was a joke.

Details have emerged about a disturbing video that led to the arrest of a 28-year-old Lansdale man on corruption of minor charges.

According to court documents obtained by The Reporter, three girls who appeared to be under the influence of drugs are shown in the video, including one who is throwing up and another who says she is “dying.”

Earlier this week, Lansdale Police arrested Teugie Lamont Askew without incident on corruption of minor charges in conjunction with the incident. Askew was located after police went public with his mug shot in an attempt to arrest him on the charges stemming from the June 6 incident.

Police began searching for Askew after parents of several teenagers under the age of 14 came to them because they found a cellphone video that showed the teens intoxicated at Askew’s apartment.

The video, taken by a teen boy, shows Askew with the minors and aware they were severely intoxicated from drinking alcohol and using cough medicine, according to authorities.
