Lansdale Man Arrested on 21 Counts of Alleged Child Pornography Possession

John Scott, 33, was allegedly in possession of the pornography on his computer, the only one in an East Main Street boarding house.

A Lansdale man residing at an East Hancock Street boarding house has been arrested and charged with 21 felony counts of child pornography possession, according to WNPV.
John Scott, 33, was arrested Dec. 2 and later released on $50,000 unsecured bail, per court records.
Police said an Abington Township Police detective, acting in a role as a member of the Pennsylvania Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, was investigating the sharing of child pornography online when he came across an Internet address connected to the Lansdale boarding house.
During the investigation, it was discovered Scott allegedly had the only computer with Internet access, police said. A search of his computer uncovered the child pornography, police said.
A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 29 in Lansdale District Court.
