Lansdale Man Injured in Fight in NJ

The victim did not provide any information on the suspect who sliced his arm.

A Lansdale man was injured Saturday night in a fight outside of a New Jersey bar.

Capt. J.T. Miller of the New Brunswick Police Department said officers responded around 2:30 a.m. Saturday to a large fight at the corner of Hamilton Street and High Street, outside of JJ Bar and Grill.

A crowd of 15-20 people scattered upon police arrival, leaving 19-year-old Chad Lockheart with a laceration to his bicep, believed to have been caused by a broken bottle, Miller said.

The victim was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and treated for the non-life threatening injury, Miller said.

He was "extremely uncooperative" and would not provide suspect information, Miller said. The police report did not make mention if the victim was under the influence of alcohol at the time, he said.
