Lansdale Man Punches Girlfriend in Face, Steals Phone, Police Say

Moses Mulbah, 20, of S. Broad Street, Lansdale, allegedly got into fight at the gym, followed the alleged victim to her Towamencin home and punched her after she refused to hand over her phone. He was taken into custody at his Lansdale home.

A Lansdale man was sent to Montgomery County prison in lieu of $10,000 cash bail after being arrested on robbery, theft, assault, trespassing, harassment and receiving stolen proper charges after allegedly punching his Towamencin girlfriend in her face and then stealing her phone on Monday, police said.
Moses Mulbah, 20, of the 600 block of S. Broad Street, Lansdale, was at the gym with his girlfriend and her friend, police said, on Monday evening, when Mulbah and his girlfriend had a verbal fight regarding their relationship.
The alleged victim and her friend left the gym and went home at Woods Edge Apartments on Weikel Road in Towamencin, and Mulbah allegedly followed them, police said.
When the girls got home, the alleged victim entered her apartment and left the door slightly open, which, police said, was done by mistake and not an invitation for Mulbah or anyone to enter the apartment.
Shortly before 8:30 p.m., Mulbah allegedly pushed the door open behind her and asked for her phone, police said.
She refused to give him the phone, at which time Mulbah allegedly punched her in the face and took her phone, police said.
Mulbah then ran out of the apartment toward Weikel Road, police said.
The alleged victim's mother then called police and advised them that a physical fight occurred and Mulbah had left on foot, police said.
Police observed a small, red contusion underneath the alleged victim's right eye, police said.
Officers spoke to another resident of the apartment, who told police she was on the second floor and heard a loud boom from the first floor, police said. The roommate said she came downstairs and saw the alleged victim, who said Mulbah had just allegedly punched her and took her $750 phone, police said.
Lansdale Police went to Mulbah's home and made contact with him, police said. They allegedly found the alleged victim's phone in his possession, police said. Towamencin Police then responded and took him into custody.
