Lansdale Police Investigating a Pair of Thefts from Vehicles

Vehicles along East Fourth Street and Hemlock Street were reportedly broken into between Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Lansdale Police are investigating a pair of vehicle break-ins that occurred sometime between Monday night and Tuesday morning.

The report states that police were contacted on Tuesday by a resident of the 400 block of East Fourth Street who stated that someone entered their vehicle and stole a Garmin GPS, ten dollars in change and a mini first-aid kit. The vehicle had been left unlocked, according to the report.

A second report was filed by a resident on the 600 block of Hemlock Street, who informed police that someone had taken a Magellan GPS and power cord, along with two packs of Marlboro Red cigarettes from a vehicle that was left unlocked in their driveway.

As a result of the two break-ins, police are urging residents to lock the doors to their vehicles and homes upon every exit. Anyone with information regarding these thefts if asked to contact the Lansdale Police Department at 215-368-1801.
