Lansdale Woman to Face Trial on Robbery, Assault Charges

A Lansdale woman faces further court action on charges she robbed and assaulted a man she met at Panico's Grill and Sports Tavern in Lansdale in October.

According to online court records, a district judge ruled that Jennifer Quelly should face further court action on 11 charges including robbery, simple assault, conspiracy, false imprisonment, harassment and theft by unlawful taking.

Quelly appeared before District Judge Robert M. Sobeck on Dec. 23.

Police were still looking for a second woman, Brooke Beatrice Moats, 22, in connection with the case in late December, according to a report on montgomerynews.com.

According to police, Moats and Quelly met a man at Panico's Grill in Lansdale in the early hours of Oct. 19. and invited him to party in North Wales. The man got into Quelly's car, and Moats then allegedly took his phone, demanded his money, and hit him in the face with the phone. The man escaped and ran to a nearby Wawa as Quelly sped away, police said.
