North Penn Senior Charged With Dealing Drugs

A North Penn High School senior has been charged with dealing drugs to his peers.

Towamencin Police arrested Frederick Jacob Vanderburg, 18, in late May after an investigation revealed he was dealing drugs in the North Penn area. According to an article in The Reporter, Vanderburg was selling marijuana and Adderall.

He is facing three felonies and three misdemeanors in connection with the crime, according to court documents.

Vanderburg has waived his preliminary hearing and will head to trial on the charges.

The investigation, which began in April, used confidential informants, police told the Reporter. Vanderburg was selling the drugs at home after school until his mom came home from work around 6 p.m., the Reporter said.

Vanderburg is included in the list of North Penn students to graduate Wednesday. He was listed as enrolled at West Chester University for the fall.
