Construction Worker Killed By Paving Truck in Montgomery Township
Brett Moyer was pronounced dead at the scene, according to reports.
A paving contractor was struck and killed by a truck Tuesday afternoon at Tree Line and Pioneer drives in Montgomery Township.
6abc.com reports the worker was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified by family as Brett Moyer, of the PK Moyer and Sons family business in Bucks County.
Montgomery County Department of Public Safety reported Moyer was stuck under the truck following the accident at around 2:30 p.m.
Montgomery Township Police said Moyer was killed by a piece of construction equipment being used while repaving the road.
Montgomery County Detective Division is investigating the accident.
Fire Department of Montgomery Township, Montgomery Township Police, North Penn Fire Co., Colmar Fire Co. and Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale responded to and assisted at the scene.
